Supporting the birth. Nurturing the mother. Empowering the family.

Birth is more than a moment. It is a life changing journey that deserves compassion, preparation, advocacy, and support that does not waver. That is the care we bring to every family we walk beside.

dou·la /ˈdo͞o·lə/ noun

A trained, nonclinical companion who offers education, advocacy, and emotional and physical support before, during, and after birth.

Doula care is valuable support, but it does not replace medical care or independently guarantee birth outcomes. We work alongside your doctor, midwife, and hospital team, never in place of them.

One constant, familiar face from your first visit to your fourth trimester.

Serving families in Essex, Union, Middlesex, Passaic, Hudson & Somerset at home births, hospitals, and birth centers. Virtual support available anywhere in the world.

You & your family

What makes my approach different is the intersection of social work and birth work. Motherhood involves more than physical changes. Emotional well being, family relationships, communication, access to resources, and a strong support system all shape a positive experience. My mission is a safe, nurturing space where mothers feel heard, families feel supported, and parents feel empowered to begin this chapter with confidence.

Why our work matters

Every mother deserves a safe birth. Every voice deserves to be heard.

Behind every maternal health statistic is a mother, a baby, a family, and a community. Black women across America, and right here in New Jersey, continue to face much higher risks during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery. Awareness is the first step toward change.
